Lumatek 600 watt HPS Electronic Ballast Dimmable 120-240v

This ballast can be used with 600 watt High Pressure Sodium bulb. The Lumatek Digital Ballast produces up to 30% more lumens than a standard magnetic ballast while drawing less electricity. This ballast is completely silent with no buzzing and produces less heat than a standard ballast. Because of Lumatek's soft start technology the bulbs can also last up to three times as long. Over time magnetic ballasts become louder, produce less light, emit more heat and use more electricity. Electronic ballasts maintain their efficiency throughout their life span. Compared to traditional magnetic ballasts, Lumatek Digital Ballasts lose less power from outlet to lamp, provide light at a far more stable level, start up faster (full light in under one minute!), and reduce the noise a system generates by running silently. These incredibly low-weight ballasts also produce less heat, short-circuits trigger a power cutoff as a safety measure, and a dimmer knob adjusts the output level from from as low as 50% all the way up to the Super Lumens setting of 110%! As if all that weren’t enough, this 600W Dual Voltage unit allows growers to power with 120V or 240V with one ballast! Each unit includes a 120V power cord. A 240V Power Cord is available separately. This ballast has a standard socket cord plug which is compatible with C.A.P., High Yield & Sun Systems reflectors and socket sets.
